I had this grand vision...if we got to the train station early it was Troegs. If we were making good time I was going to hop off at Ardmore and go to Tired Hands. Both breweries are literally 1 block from the stations. Alas time is not my friend today.
 
My package has made it to Sacramento! Heading to the east coast at lightning speed!
 
In an Shyamalan-esque twist my package is now undamaged and on the truck for delivery but has an estimated delivery date of tomorrow. I think FedEx is just ****ing with me at this point...

First trade last year i had a damaged package. FedEx repackaged the undamaged bottles and shipped it to my recipient...funny because i think they prohibit the shipment of alcohol....

Whenever they ask me what I'm shipping I yell them live yeast samples. There's one counter guy who is industry savvy and chuckles every time I say that. He knows what it is but doesn't say anything about it. I have to get ahold of their user agreement terms to find out the actual verbage.

I've never been asked except that one time I sent you a trade in a beer box. He asked if was actually beer and I said, "that would be funny". Then he rung me up

They only time where I blatantly lied was on that shipment heading to Canada. I told them it was bbq sauce. I wasn't about to pay a tax on the stuff for export lol. The shipping costs alone were a nightmare.
 
next week is a big week for me...I think my box will hit next week, I have a Surly box coming in and my Belgium in a box is coming in. If anybody has any really good BA stuff and they want to swap out for a 2009 Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze , let me know :)
 
I'm in a pickle now. I have the shipment going to my main office, but my boss has me working in another office in Chicago today and tomorrow... I have my secretary letting me know if anything shows up and I'll just have to make the trek out there because it surely won't be waited on til Monday if it comes in the next two days...

lol our last swap was funny for me...we get done early on Fridays and my box was due in. I left my office at four and tracked down the UPS man about 6 blocks away to pick it up. I refused to wait the weekend out for a box full of great beer from Val!
 
I'm 100 miles from the ocean but I work in the Bay Area- staring at the bay now.
 
Does anyone believe in beer karma? I just got back shipping my package which left me with $1 until tomorrow....so no beer for me today. I get home and as I'm getting out the truck fed ex pulls up and puts a box in my hands.

Sorry to my recipient for the delay in shipping, I had bought all the GABF I could and turned out all but one had the same distro. So if you can get Three philosphers, Andygator, Chocolate oak aged yeti, Fade to black, sawtooth, milk stout, and Le Freak, you may be receiving a package Monday.
