Grateful Dead - 31 Days of Dead-Ed Martin 2017 edition

I was going to do a bootleg Sunday at some point, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Making a RIS in a little while. Cheated on the music this morning, "Alexa, play Norah Jones."

Still at it. Not sure where I'm going from here, but it will likely be punk or metal.

Today is Xmas music.

I FVCKING Hate xmas music. But family commitments. And I do get to teach my niece and sister-in-law how to make traditional Pho stock starting from bones. Dying art of traditional techniques.

Nothing from me last week due to a terrible hangover. Had our annual December bottle share, and it was a big one.

I've since recovered, and went to see Jimmie's Chicken Shack last night, probably for the tenth time. Always a fun one.

Today will be cleaning the house in preparation for Tuesday's guests. Maybe a trip to the liquor store, as well. I enjoy non-traditional Christmas music, so I'll do a bit of that today.

The Vandals - Christmas With The Vandals; Oi To The World! (1996)
Reverend Horton Heat - We Three Kings Christmas Favorites (2005)
August Burns Red - Sleddin' Hill, A Holiday Album (2012)
Bad Religion - Christmas Songs (2016)
Caribbean Steel Drum Ensemble - Christmas In The Caribbean (2010)

Maybe a trip to the liquor store, as well.
bless! I have 1 day worth of beer and no Bourbon. Need to make bread pudding with bourbon sauce for x-mas dinner.
Guess I'll get some George Thorogood 1 bourbon, 1 scotch and 1 beer.

If I were home, I'd play an old blues version too, but not home.

No Christmas music today, plenty over the next two days....I gravitate towards jazz versions of the classics.

Always got to plan ahead in Texas, no liquor sales on Christmas or New Years....

Last night was the annual hometown Christmas show for August Burns Red, and as a result, I can't really hear much. It sold out in a week, so they added a second, (also sold out), that is tonight. I'm not nearly young enough to do both, (I'm one of the oldest people there every year), but my daughter is doing both shows, and working a ten hour day in between.

So, nothing from me this morning, but once my hearing recovers just a bit, I'll go with the following:

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black (2006)
Les Claypool and The Holy Mackerel - Highball With The Devil (1996)
Linkin Park - Meteora (2003)
Buckcherry - Fifteen (2008)
Savatage - Dead Winter Dead (1995)

Year-end reflections this a.m.
Need to brew more, spend less $$ on music.
Finish a myriad of home and garden projects.
Work less, play more, ain't getting any younger!
Have another cup of coffee.....

It's tasty. The molasses and honey really give it a little something extra, IMO.

Odd that you found my recipe after all these years. I hope you enjoy it!

I just searched "jerky recipe" in the cooking or meat smoking.
