I've made three batches of kombucha, starting with a packaged kit.
Using the same Scoby, this is what I see nine days into the first fermentation

This was made from about 1 cup of liquid from the previous fermentation, with 4 cups of tea mixed with 6 cups of water.

Temperature has been 66-68 degrees (previous larger batches were at 76-78). This morning the pH was around 3.5

What does this look like to anyone with more experienced eyes ?

I started the second fermentation. When I removed the Scoby, this is what I saw:

I went ahead with the brewing, but I'm not planning to drink it unless someone who has seen this can say that it might be safe.

Hard to say from the dark and out of focus photo. Mold often presents when the temperature is too low. Optimally, it’s best to keep it at about 75F. Also, mold doesn’t normally grow in acidic kombucha liquid but often grows on the pellicle. Throw the pellicle out. Let another one form. I throw all my pellicles into the compost pile.

Do these tell you anything new?
Same Scoby three days later.

Thanks again.
