You're a stones throw from the Catskills and Hunter mountain. Hunter has a giant zip line if you're into that sort of thing, and if use alltrails you should find plenty of hiking trails fairly nearby

This is helpful info as my wife and I are planning a trip to Suarez and it's about a 2 hour drive for us, so we thought it'd be cool to find a place reasonably close to spend the night rather than just heading back home.

I'll admit I know next time to nothing about the Catskills area. We love hiking but would also like to find a town where we could walk around to a couple bars and grab dinner, and either be able to walk back to our hotel/Airbnb or get an Uber (I know those might be few and far between). Does anything like this exist in the area?

Hudson, NY is this.

(cant vouch for that site entirely, but it seems to have a lot of general info you'd need for a potential trip)

You can download the app for convenience, but this is a great site: I've set it to the Catskills, but you can change the region to discover stuff all over the state:

Will be visiting some family Wednesday that live about 15 minutes from Suarez. Anything else in the area to check out? Other breweries, bottleshops, bars etc? Thanks!

Heading up Saturday!

Semi related: Anyone here ever check out the upstate Smorg in Kingston? Worth hanging out at?

Lovin this new one! Lemongrass ftw. Another awesome country beer from Dan

Anyone taste the Domain Blend 1 yet?
Exceptional. I didn't go nuts for the Vintage Hundo so I was curious which direction they'd take with this type of blend. I was a couple bottles in when I opened it, but the orange citrus note they advertised just plays so well with the botanical threads.

Anything they put in a 500 ml bottle has become a must-bang.
