Questions for you local professionals...

I have the day off tomorrow and am eventually going to get to Suarez around opening but want to make a day out of it as it is over 2 hours from me.

I'm open to suggestions for things to do in the local surrounding area.

Any nice places to hike? A nice place to eat lunch? Any other places worth checking out? I'm just looking to adventure and stay busy so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I really suggest checking out Angry Orchard in Walden.

If you're coming from the NYC area I would definitely stop at Beacon, lots of great restaurants and you could hit up the Dia if you're into contemporary art or architecture at all, the building is really cool. Also Hudson Valley brewery is in Beacon as well.
For hiking definitely hit up Minnewaska state park near New Paltz, you can swim there too.

Did you get cans?

If you have some extra i'd be interested!

I'm going to be passing through from one wedding to another on Saturday. I'm thinking about stopping by for the first time. What size growlers does Suarez fill? I don't see much info regarding growlers in this thread (recently) or on their FB/Website. Also, were the Qualify cans a one time thing?

If you have time get some stuff on tap too, really cheap pours of 100 ft North are the best.

You're a stones throw from the Catskills and Hunter mountain. Hunter has a giant zip line if you're into that sort of thing, and if use alltrails you should find plenty of hiking trails fairly nearby
