I didn't buy any and I bet I'll be able to buy this on tap at the breweries in a 4oz sample for $2.
Why would you even do that? These are almost certainly all going to be terrible. Has stone ever done a collaboration worth drinking?

2 come to mind. San Diego Session Ale from 5yrs ago and more recently the Unapologetic IPA. Every once in awhile they hit a single homer. 90% though are meh.

I actually feel like their collabs used to be pretty good. Looking back at the history, Cherry Chocolate Stout, Japanese Green Tea IPA (which I didn't expect to enjoy), Highway 78, El Camino (Un)Real Black IPA....they may not have been amazeballs, but they were at least decent, and in some cases, worth multiple visits. The last two years, however, has been 99% garbage, and the fact that they're actually brewing another Woot Stout proves they have no ******* clue what they're doing anymore.

WootStout is brewed for ComicCon, so I'd expect to see that every year.

Cherry Chocolate Stout was a muddled mess. Green Tea was interesting but a bajillion floaties, I forgot, Highway 78 was really good. Black IPA's can suck mud in general.

I actually like Woot Stout... the fact that 2.0 isn't hitting one of their biggest markets (Texas, duh) kinda gives me a migraine though.

We're either the #2 or #3 market for Stone here. Kinda surprised they don't capitalize on that.

It only went to San Diego and Kentucky. That's it.

$120 in and happy... Except for accidentally buying woot when I meant to grab the Alesmith

In total I grabbed: Woot, Alesmith, Lost Abbey/3f and Maui

Each one came with $20 that I'll be able to use plus the "team stone" discount will make there food reasonably priced

You might want to read the fine print. Woot and Alesmith got Team Stone discounts. Not the case for Lost Abbey and Maui.

I don't know of any that came with $20 in gift cards. You need to travel to Maui to use that $10 gift certificate.

Well I'm sold.

Unapologetic was supposed to be like a VT style IPA but missed the mark badly. It wasn't bad but it was not close to its goal.

Oh yeah and hops are only a problem for certain dogs in plant form, in a beer they are not a problem. Add some IPA to the dog food, but as for stone well yeah **** them.

I don't blame you for not knowing, considering the tactics that Stone is basically changing their mind on **** left and right, but the Team Stone discount was done away with once the accountants finally loaded up that youtube clip and said "Wait, he said what?!" and yanked it from the other bottle releases without saying ****.

Besides, the discount for food is really not much of one. I do think that a $20 magnum isn't too bad, it's a shame that the gift cards are essentially a **** you unless you plan on traveling to those areas to use them and for the fact that the magnum of beer is essentially pretty ****** anyway.

And what is VT style IPA?

A VT Style IPA is one of the rarer breeds. It is generally brewed from the 5 main ingredients in beer: Water, Hops, Malt, Yeast, and a rudimentary understanding of philosophy that leaves neckbeards in awe of the brewer's ability. The water is special Vermont water pulled from wells dug by previous illustrious generations. The hops are 1st generation cru status bines, and were the first strain ever used in the new land of America. The Malt is prepared in such a way that Gambrinus himself anointed as God-Tier™. The yeast is unlike anything ever used to ferment liquid. It is not unlike the special yeasts found only in Belgium that brewers have used for centuries to make special blonde ales.

But what really makes the Vermont IPA unlike any other is the care, insight, and philosophy in which it is brewed.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you. The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

Since boredom advances and boredom is the root of all evil, no wonder, then, that the world goes backwards, that evil spreads. This can be traced back to the very beginning of the world. The gods were bored; therefore they created human beings. Thus the Vermont IPA: God-Tier™.

Not to be confused with the imposter Suburban Philadelphia IPA.

Cool of you to post your Collected Works essay on here for us to enjoy.

Be careful though, Christian Zellersfield might take exception to that last sentence and vaporize your brain with one of his futurerustic weapons.

I just realized that the Evil Twin/Stone collab has nothing in terms of benefits aside from the magnum. Oh, I guess if you count this..

Jeppe of Evil Twin will take you on a journey from the U.S. to Europe and back with this yet-to-be-determined beer. Expect phenomenal.

But all the others are least come with a $10 gift card to the far off destinations that you may happen to be traveling around to use. First the Team Stone discount goes away and now this? Getting mighty cheap there, Greg.

I wouldn't underestimate the value of round trip airfare by magnum. Seems legit.

Did anyone else get a notice of a Bruery/Stone collaboration yesterday? I thought I saw it on my phone but I can't find any emails or texts?
