Hello y'all.

On Sunday I pitched a starter that was @ 95°F into a wort that was @ 64°F. I got 5pt attenuation 48h later and now it's stuck.

I know it was my mistake not to cool the starter before pitching, but I'd like to know if there's any way to save the whole thing. Maybe adding another pack (US05, btw)

Thanks in advance.

Did you make a starter or did you just rehydrate the US05? You don't really need a starter for dry yeast. I wouldn't check to see if it's done fermenting until at least two weeks or so, not 2 days. if you're worried, give it a little shake and let it be until next week.

At 48 hours it has most likely slowed down. That doesn't mean it is stuck. Wait another 5-10 days and take another gravity reading. It is probably going just fine., just without so much action....

i rehydrate the US05... measured today and it's 1017. i found it super strange not seein any action. anyway, it looks like it's alright :)
