I just read the directions on williams brewing on their star sans and it says to use 1oz per 5 gallons. I've been using 1/4 oz per 1 1/4 gallon and just splash it around the fermentor and spray it on equipment using a spray bottle. I've yet to have an infection in my beer in 30+ beers. Anyone have any reason to use the recommended measured amounts vs what I do?
