Spiced Doppelbock?

I was thinking about what I should brew for Christmas this year and I thought about a spiced Doppelbock. I did a search for this and came up blank. Has anyone tried this before? What did you come up with?

I haven’t done it, but if I were to do it, I’d spice it similarly to a pumpkin ale without the pumpkin or like a wassail.

Something along the lines of allspice, cinnamon, clove, & nutmeg.
