I really like the flavor of Special B but I have not ever found a stout recipe with Special B. I'm formulating a stout right now and am thinking if putting it in. Here is the recipe.

9 pounds of 2 row.
.5 Special B.
1 crystal 60
.5 roasted barley
.75 chocolate malt
.5 flaked oats.

~30 ibu
Pacman yeast
Mash at about 153.

How does that look? I am open to thoughts of how this will turn out.

Thanks

Looks like a stout to me. Mine has 12oz Special B, 8oz Roasted, & 8oz Chocolate.

Thanks, I will definitely use it then.

One more question, I'm debating witch yeast to use for this. Right now I have Us-05, pacman, and bell's house yeast. Witch one would you all use?

I don't have any experience with those. I've used Kolsch, London Ale III, British Ale II, and Irish Ale - all from Wyeast. Strangely, I like the fruitiness that comes with the London Ale III. It complements the heavy roasty flavors and lactose in my beer.
