Taking my first crack at a lager tomorrow. I've browsed several recipes for a Munich Helles, and while I stuck pretty close to style, I made my 5 gallon recipe my own.
I'll be doing around 8 # of pilsner, 1#Vienna, .5#munich and .5# carapils.

One issue is my one pound delivery of Hallertau was supposed to arrive today but didn't, due to an ice storm we're having. So all I have that comes close is German Select. I have one ounce and I'll use that at 60 min. I guess I won't be having a 10min addition as I wanted but oh well. Should come out pretty good.
I'll call it "Highway to Helles"
