Hi all,

I made 11 gallons of Bo Pils with Saaz. Pretty standard AG recipe. OG 1.058, FG 1.009. A slightly higher than usual mash temp gives me some good mouthfeel and residual sweetness even though the FG is a touch low for the style. The samples are taste good. Nice maltiness happening with soft, but peppery, hop aroma and flavor.

I kegged it last night for lagering. I want to do something different to half the batch. I was thinking of adding oak cubes to the keg for a bit to see what that could give me. I have not used wood in anything yet, but have been listening to all the podcasts and scouring the interwebs. I have not found much on using wood in pilsners. Is this because it shouldn't be done?

Could I get some thoughts on this experiment?
