It seems that during the bubbling from fermentation, a good portion of water that was in my airlock was pushed out. Fermentation has slowed a bit... should I pop open the airlock and pour a little more water in? Or just leave it alone?

Sure, why not?
If you have a bottle of vodka or clear rum lying around it would be even better.

Waste of drinkable alcohol! Use Starsan instead.

Forgot to say, the fill line on 3-piece airlocks is very high. You only need enough fluid to cover the holes in the shuttle, about 2/3 up to the fill line, for it to work properly.
If letting it sit for several weeks, sure start higher, or top up when needed.

Also, if you don't know this already, omit the secondary, there's usually no need for any.
