Shipping cider question

I know it's not legal and I wouldn't think of doing it because it's against the law but if a person other than myself were going to ship a couple bottles of his very finest to a son on the west coast what shipper should he use. And what would be the best way to package that liquid goodness to keep it safe on it's long journey? I thought I saw a stickey or a string of emails about this subject buy it seems to have gone away.
 
It's not illegal to ship through FedEx or DHL or UPS, etc. It's only illegal to ship through the US postal service.

However, it might be against policy to ship alcohol so I like to ship homemade barbeque sauce and sometimes yeast samples in suspension as to avoid any confusion.
