A good day at fly fishing up in very fresh mountain stream.

I'm very lucky that my parents had me really young. My father is only 53.

Wow aren't you like 38 or something, making your pops 15 when you were born?

38?!?

I'm a 33 year old TROUT fisherman, not a 38 year old BASS fisherman.

You been drinking buddy? ;)

I swore you mentioned that number awhile back... not to worry. You look like you're 16 ;)

Nice pictures everyone.

One of the many browns I caught this summer on my local stream. Flyfishing...

I'm a professional offshore sailor. This is coming back from a race to Montego Bay a few years ago. With not much else on board but freezed dried and whatever we could pick up in Jamaica, this was probably the best mahi I have ever eaten.

Here is my claim to fame. This is the port record in Mazatlan Mexico. It's a blue marlin 13 ft and 585 lbs. It took 6 1/2 hrs to reel it in on 95 lb test line. I retired as champion.

I prosted the pictures with pops (Reelale and Yooper). I love fishing with my father. You can barely see his head in the picture I'm wearing the Yankees shirt in.

Well, I don't have any pictures of my dad fishing, I don't think. The older guy in the photo is a friend of ours. My dad is probably near the same age as him, but my dad is a tiny skinny guy without one gray hair!

I do have lots of pictures of my brother's kid fishing with us- we had him stay with us for two weeks this summer and took him fishing constantly. He's 9, and awesome!

Not many (any?) hardwater pics so I thought I'd post one and my "boat".

Looks awfully cold to be fishing for LMB. I'd try it.

I didn't do very good this year but the wife did.

Hahahaha.

Oops, that that was your father. Is he at least A father? :)

Yes- that's my friend Dave. He IS a father, and became a grandfather recently. So he "counts" I guess!

The great thing about him and his wife is that they are friends of ours, and happen to live in the same town as us in the spring/summer/fall, and winter 20 miles away from us in the winter. So we see them as often as we can (not really that often) but Bob and Dave fish in the winter in Texas in Dave's boat when we're not kayaking. He's an avid fisherman, too, so there are always plenty of fish stories. Some are even true!

And a 2001 pic of a grayling from a fly-in trip to SW Nanavut. And a pic of a peacock from a quick trip into the canals around Miami in 2005.

Damn I forgot about those Peacock Bass in the Miami canals... I grew up there and used to fish for em too... I wish I had pics of some of the ones we pulled up. Gorgeous fish and decent fight too.

Well, as a Corps of Engineers lake project Park Ranger, I'll just step in here and remind you all to pay your launch fees and obey the game laws!

And please have all your safety equipment! A life jacket for every passenger (kids under 13 need to always wear their lifejacket.), throwabale flotation device, and a fire extinguisher. You don't want to get these hefty fines, and risk anyone's life!

You aren't one of those damn park rangers that are ******** are ya. I've ran into a couple that thought they were far superior cause they had a mount me hat on. :)

This is a picture of my first and my son's first bass. I just started fishing last year. I look weird cause I'm telling him to smile. :)

Congratz on that. Always great to see them reel in their first. This is my little girl last year at the end of the season off our boat dock on current river. Managed to get a big chub minnow as we call em to bite a worm. She was so proud
