Sediment in non-bottle conditioned beer

The other night we went out to a local restaurant. I ordered a Fordham ram's head ipa. When I got it I noticed the date on the bottle was from a year ago. Not minding too much, I poured it into a glass and it smelled great. I tasted it and it tasted great. That's when my girlfriend noticed a beer full of sediment in suspension. To me it looked kinda like protein chains. Any thoughts on what this might be?

From the second picture looks like Hop debris to me. As an IPA perhaps was heavily dry hopped before bottling? Just a guess.
