Today I found out that my LHBS is closing. They will be having a huge closing sale this Saturday, but I am really bummed... I will have to order all my ingredients online now. Any buddy have a preference on ordering grains online(whole). I live in northern michigan. I'm currently having a beer for a Bad Teacher Brewing Supply... RIP...

I've been ordering from http://www.ritebrew.com/ as their prices seem competitive, their shipping to my place is reasonable, and the order usually gets here in 2 days unless there is a weekend involved.

Wow that suck. Having a LHBS nearby is great. Mine is about a mile away, so a spontanious brew can happen. Fire up the burner, start heating strike water while I go to the store to get ingredients.

I guess you will have to plan a little more but it is doable.

Farmhouse Brewing supply is my favorite at the present.

For a larger selection I have used Northern Brewer and Austin Homebrew Supply.

Luckily, last year a new LHBS opened nearer to my house so I get larger amounts there to save on shipping. That and last minute purchases.

There is a huge homebrew supply place in Ann Arbor called Adventures in Homebrewing (http://www.homebrewing.org/). They have had good prices when I've bought from them. Too far to drive, but hopefully they can get stuff to you fast.

Haha, that pretty good. I thought about opening my own. I do have a Bachelors in Business Administration. But, my life is still at sea. Maybe a semi-retirement option on opening my own brewpub someday though. I will be looking into the home brew supply store in Ann Arbor Michigan. I wish I would have found it sooner actually!
