Roasting Flaked Corn???

So, many of us have roasted flaked oats to bring up their character, but had anybody roasted flaked maize or even popcorn to use as an adjunct?

Brewery ARS in South Philly produced "Street Corn", their take on street corn as a Saison. They smoked their corn to have it represent the grilled street corn for May 5th last year.
