Hey all,

I brewed a pale ale with 001, washed the yeast and pitched into an American Brown.

I'm looking for suggestions on what to brew with the yeast next.

My end goal is to brew a barley wine... But I think I can get another two generations out of it before I finish it off.

Thanks

001 is a classic yeast. It'll go 10 generations if you want. Any clean american style will work. AAA, AIPA, even an american wheat would be great with 001. You really can't go wrong with any style that requires a clean yeast. Stick to beers under 1.065 and you can re-use it for quite a while. If you've got a lot from washing, maybe go for a double IPA. Whatever you want, really!
