I am just about to purchase some of the supplies needed to begin my keezer build and I am stuck on which type of shank to purchase.
Is there a noticeable difference in taste or serving between a stainless steel shank versus a non-stainless steel shank?
I found a 3" shank (non stainless) with a welded nipple on it for $15.95, versus a non-welded 4" stainless steel shank which comes with the hex nut and 3/16" nipple for $28.95. I will be ordering 4 of them so the difference will add up. Considering that I will buy Perlick faucets a little bit of savings will help. Any comments would be appreciated!
