What are you trying to make? If you want this to be a stout then. . . well, it won't be. If you want it to be a pale ale, I think you might be a in the good range.

Should I first wort hop with the one ounce or just do the 2 minute addition?

Ok. Thank you. Headed to rebel brewer tomorrow to get the stuff. Plus kegging equipment. I bought a refrigerator and im installing a 2 tap system for now. Maybe more later. Thank you for all the help everyone.

Ok. Final recipe I went with. I think this will be a lot better and not as crazy sweet.

I like it!

If you're going to FWH, I'd use the centennials there instead of at 45 minutes, and keep the late additions right where they are. They look good.

Yoop, I thought of you when I saw that recipe. I've had five pounds of golden naked oats I acquired for cheap from a home brew store that went out of business and still haven't tried them out. I'd like to know how this turns out or I may try your hoppy red again with the correct ingredients.
