That time of year is here.

Every year, the weekend before Labor Day weekend, as in LAST friggin weekend already, my local supermarket puts out the big bins of spice scented pinecones and fake holly. Yes, it is still sunscreen weather. Sheesh.

They’ve been doing that here in California for the past few years. In fast the local Costco has had halloween items/costumes for a few weeks. Its 100f degrees. Granted last year we had a good winter but keep your fake scented pine cones in storage for another month or two big box stores. I’m still in shorts and flipflops for a few months.
