There are a lot of differences between LA and the Big Island, but there are some similarities as well.

No one wants Cascade's overpriced products. I saw tons of it turding up the shelves in Kauai, too.

They now also distribute to South Korea.

My grocery store clearanced out their old label Cascades for 4.99/ea.

It was almost low enough, but i like my teeth more than I would a cheap 3 year old cascade.

If we ever saw prices like that, I'd clear the shelves like I did for a couple of Bruery markdowns lately. As it stands, prices now are higher than I used to pay to mail order directly from the brewery. Not going to spend $40+ that some of them are tagged at locally.

Perrin Brewing Co. of Comstock Park announced Monday night on Facebook that bottles of the beer will exclusively be released from the brewery April 14. No Rules on draft will continue to be available at locations outside the brewery.

Perrin made the same amount of No Rules as last year, but it's limiting bottle sales to in-house to "protect the brand," according to spokeswoman Lindsey VanDenBoom. Last year, people who waited in line on release day were "kind of just frustrated" to see the beer later available in stores;

Why are they so expensive? Do they actually sell any? How do they con grocery store buyers into buying like a grand of their product?
My guess is they're just leftovers from years back when distribution of other brands wasn't so great. I remember my local store in Boston had several 5-7 year old bottles just sitting there for $40-45 each.

Today is Allagash's Drink it Now day. Where they just promote opening a beer from your cellar that you have been sitting on for a while. Check out their IG & crack open one w/ few years on it today !
Tommorow is a "holiday", so no excuses.

About around this time last year I started implementing "Cellar Sunday" to drink down beers I had sitting around. Put a good dent in my collection with still room to go.

I don't normally think much about Libertine, but whenever we get one of their better sounding beers (like Heard it Through the Grapevine at present) from them, I can't help but wish they weren't a bunch of cork-throwing ***** so that I could buy their beer.

This will be of interest to about three people on here but big news among cask ale aficionados. .

I'm having a hard time thinking of a more enjoyable drinking experience then crushing cask ales in London for 10 days straight without a hangover.

I long for the day when American craft brewers attack low abv ales that aren't "session" version garbage.

Same here. I miss cask way more than I ever thought I would.
