A few months ago everyone who went to The Festival was raving about the Frederiksdal cherry wine. Does anyone know which one that was. I see they have a Sur Lie, Late Bottled, and Reserve.

I've enjoyed it every time I've had it but I don't think any subsequent batches lived up to the first one.

That first batch of Great was amazing, and Bad Boy from a growler that AleWatcher brought out to a tasting way back in the day is still the best hop forward beer I've ever had.

Drinking the Green Flash brewed stuff just makes me sad.

As I local I really miss getting fresh OG Nelson every 3 weeks. I don't have the heart to delete the Google calendar alerts yet...

The first batch of that beer tasted like bile. So gross. No one but me seemed to realize that, but it's true.

Man, I remember a guy who moved to Seattle from San Diego and brought a bunch of Nelson and various other Alpine bombers along with some Societe growlers up with him for a share. I was so excited.

Now I see the GF brewed stuff at the store and don't care.

The Alpine stuff is THE TRUTH compared to the Green Flash-brewed stuff.

Buddy is going to the TG release. He's bunking up and renting a car with a local dude he has never met in an effort to reduce costs. He's hoping the dude is cool. I offered encouragement in the form of "Hey man, as long as you don't come home with a shirt that reads 'I went to Decorah and all I got was roofied, unwanted anal penetration and this lousy T-Shirt.' it will probably go ok."

I want to dislike kettle soured beers with fruit added because every brewery is lazily pumping them out without effort... but honestly, it's rare that I have one I don't enjoy. At least as a palate cleanser.

I don't love the chair thing at Tired Hands, but someone should probably stop letting Al from Pizzaboy use social media. He always manages to come off like one of the biggest jerks around.

Al is probably just bitter he can't get a line of chairs like this outside his establishment.

Seriously, does anyone have anything good to say about that guy? Of all the beer "names", I've never heard one thing remotely complimentary about him. Even the guys with the most haters who are considered the biggest jerks, ********, egotists, etc. usually have a group of supporters/defenders.
