Yes.Is there anywhere in America that doesn't have a quality IPA in their local liquor store these days?
Hahahaha, you don't frequent the DDT much do you? There's no way people can drink a ~case of pounders in a week, right? I think people have become obsessed with acquiring.

In MD, I can’t just go into a store and buy a great IPA at any time. I can’t remember the last time saw a real, live bottle of Double Jack that was less than 3 months old. Ditto Union Jack. I’m pretty sure that fresh Sculpin doesn’t even exist anymore. Maine Beer Lunch hits every so often, as does Sucks (which is now harder to find fresh).
In terms of locals, Union’s Double Duckpin is probably our best option, and it’s nothing mindblowing. The others are just overhyped by locals because they are in cans.
Double Duckpin is better than what a lot of people have as their local. Big fan
Speaking of that night, FW Pivo Pils is such a spectacularly pleasant and easy drinking beer.

You can go to DC Brau and get Wings and Solar Abyss..err, whatever they're calling it now.
While you're there you can GPIUFMB![]()
That moment when your local brewery sets limits based on the number of people "interested" in the event on Facebook.
Canned 50 cases? That's less than 5 bbls and that's if they're 16 oz cans. Who the **** cans 150 gallons of beer at a time?Follow up. Saw the owner in the grocery store last night so I asked how the release went. They canned 50 cases and "sold just shy of 19".
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
HA.

Based on turn out, that was already too much. This place is something else. They make good beer, nothing stellar. It sits on shelves locally due to the price point. The owners are both pretty young and graduated from the "prestegious" Colgate University and think they are all sorts of business savvy. They just broke ground on new 3 million dollar (yes I typed that right) facility which slates them to be one of the larger producers in NY.
My whole thing is, you're dumb. You can't ******* sell your beer locally so what? Your are going to pump it out and attempt to gain traction in other markets? Shitheads.
**** man, it costs 9 bucks for a pint of their flagship DIPA in their ******* taproom and they wonder why it doesn't move that fast. 9 ******* dollars.
tikk, you may have seen some of their stuff downstate, Good Nature Brewing.

Yea we have one of those, actually two now, in NC. Funny thing is, they're just taking their beer to ****** markets and killing it. Not a bad model, but why build the huge facility?
