What is with all these breweries that need to have a ******* release party every time they put a beer in a can? There are three breweries that are relatively local to me, and each put out a new beer in a can every single month, and have a release party for it at their brewery. These aren’t beers that are sitting in barrels for a year+. These are hoppy and/or lower ABV releases that are probably grain to can in two weeks or less. I mean, I get it to an extent. It’s a fun time, I’m sure. But these exact same breweries distribute, too. How about just can some beer and distro it to local stores? When did that become a thing of the past?
Also never get when locals will do a release party at a bar for every seasonal. Can't imagine loads of people crawl out of the woodwork for the first tapping of your fall dunkelweiss.

People are idiots. About a third of that Denver Beer Traders group is unbearable. Someone on lambic.info posted "je suis lambic" or something idiotic like that...looks like it has since been deleted but seriously, what the **** are you thinking.

Correction, about 95% of the DBT group is unbearable. That particular guy took the cake today.

being in a middling size town with a couple new'ish breweries that are doing regular "releases" now is nice. they aren't over-run. they aren't over-priced. they don't get huge publicity and draw crowds from all over the midwest.

a new twist on one of their standards gets tapped.. they bottle something new.. they have a "release" party but it's more like a regular night at the brewery with a couple dozen more people having a good time.

it brings new eyes to their product. gets the word out. people buy merchandise, have fun and tell their friends.

these aren't the hype/popular new breweries with some highly sought after limited release that beer nerds go berserk about needing to have... while complaining about other beer nerds clamoring for the a beer they don't even understand or can't possibly appreciate.... they're just.... beer. good beer.

beer people have to stop pointing the finger at other beer people. you're both part of the problem.

To go one better; someone started a free monthly beer magazine here in Aus. After 5 or 6 months, they are still having a launch part for every issue.

And apparently people go along. I have nfi why. People must be desperate for events?

When did BMO banks start giving out Lou Pepes when you opened an account?

If there were ever any doubt that Moe and Craft Beer Kings are complete and total shitlords, then wonder no more. (Not my screenshot)

A notable brewer could pass away and they'd probably send out an email along the lines of:

RIP Brewer X

For sale in limited quantities: hyped very limited beer made by Brewer X, can never be made the same way again!

That doesn't even deserve the title of shitlordery. That's a true scumbag move. Using a tragedy to advertise and make some sales. I hope moe gets cancer in his *******.

promethazine =/= codeine cough syrup, but it is used to make the "lean"....don't ask how I know that. Just know I've never done the stuff (lean).
Prometh is not the same as Codeine, this is true. However, lean is a mixture of Sprite, Fanta or other soda mixed with syrup such as Actavis. Actavis and other such syrups are Promethazine with Codeine; they have both. Prometh is a cough suppressant, and obviously Codeine is a narcotic.

Don't do drugs.
