Just noticed the following bill was proposed here in CT. No clue where it stands in the process, but what a ******* crock. Hopefully it just dies...View attachment 4248
lol wut. Do you guys want to have the worst beer laws in the nation? Cause that law is even worse than what we have here in Texas.

that would be some serious ******** and really hurt breweries. most legislatures in the northeast are getting more brewery friendly, so hopefully this doesn't have a chance at passing. to me, it seems like something distributors might try to push through, but hard to say.
Restaurants/Bars likely pushing it just as much, as a lot of breweries here start to act that way. I think there's something about how our breweries can basically act like a full bar on a cheaper license.

But I'm sure the distributors are also mad they're not getting those 50 case releases to split up across their 300 craft accounts

I'd guess this is also something of a response by distributors to so many breweries trying to remove or at least increase the 9 liter limit on to-go sales.

Oh look, another one introduced by one of the same Reps to specifically bring “fairness” to the restaurants.

Reminds me of the infamous Office Space scene:

1st Bob: What you do at Initech is you take the specifications from the customer and bring them down to the software engineers?
Tom: Yes, yes that's right.
2nd Bob: Well then I just have to ask why can't the customers take them directly to the software people?
Tom: Well, I'll tell you why... because... engineers are not good at dealing with customers...
1st Bob: So you physically take the specs from the customer?
Tom: Well... No. My secretary does that... or they're faxed.
2nd Bob: So then you must physically bring them to the software people?
Tom: Well... No. ah sometimes.
1st Bob: What would you say you do here?
Tom: Look I already told you, I deal with the @#$% customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills! I am good at dealing with people, can't you understand that? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

Just replace software people with breweries and specs with beer.

This local place made an accidental American Wild Milk Stout. The beer got infected when they added coffee beans in secondary so instead of dumping they put it into barrels with blackberries. I hope they release it cause I can't wait to try this absolute mess.

Nice to see Dark Horse keeping busy.

The site that illegally posted Hulk Hogan’s sex tape and got sued? Are they famous for anything else?
The thing that got them on my radar was the Manti Te'o scoop:

Can't remember the last time I had a Sam Adams beer. Would drink the **** out of the Hallertau Imperial Pils if they brought it back, tho.
