Do any reasonably good breweries charge draft prices that are radically lower you would pay at a bar? Georgia will finally be changing their laws on September 1 to allow people to purchase drafts (and package) from breweries, and some people (reddit idiots [yes, I know that's redundant]) seem to think that breweries should charge way less than bars (since they don't have to go through a distributor). I haven't been to a ton of out-of-state breweries, but I don't ever recall seeing crazy low prices for drafts anywhere.

Upright charges $3/12 oz, or $4 if it's barrel aged. De Garde is $4/12 oz, I'm pretty sure.

Most of the places around here have under thr table handy agreements with distributors to keep the prices relatively similar to off site retail.

Good for both of them... not so much the consumer looking for a deal.

"Radically" lower? No, but no one does (excluding happy hours). But there are definitely a bunch of breweries around here that are cheaper than restaurants and tap houses.

charging less at the source would be undercutting their retailers. seems a bad idea.

Someone on here used to make/sell them...not sure if they are still around. I have a 750/375mL one, they are nice. Tons of people got them so someone must remember who was making them.

Shoot me a pm if you can't find the guy on here and we can try and work something out for mine, they don't get nearly as much use anymore at my house.

Pretty much every Goodwill I've been to has a shelf full of (what wasn't meant to be but functions perfectly as) lambic baskets for like 99 cents.
