If I were a brewer and someone asked me to brew a beer for their Facebook group, I would dump my drink on his head and give him a wedgie.

Until said group gives you thousands of dollars for a beer that hasn't even been brewed yet.

(Also, full disclosure, happy I was able to get a Peach Saison Vautor from McKenzie thanks to a mutual friend in one of said groups)

Anyone remember a year or so ago when I said its only a matter of time before a brewery/brewer's ignorance kills a patron? I cited an instance where someone was dumb enough to spray paint barrels and then release the beer wondering why it tasted ******* horrific like chemicals.

Well, ya cant fix stupid. They are back at it! This time utilizing the same barrels with additional layers of spray paint strategically placed to "show off" how these barrels were previously used for a beer that will undoubtly give you stomach cancer.

Brewdog-lookin' ass

Weirdly, I had a conversation with a hop supplier this morning who literally said the same. He was wondering why not many people are using Cascade anymore given its shelf life and reliability.
What I really don't get is people throwing Cascade into hazy drink-fresh IPAs.

Along similar but different lines, the cans coming out of Stone Berlin are on another level - the Go To and standard IPA are a cut above the other everyday hoppy beers over here. Stone might be a bit passé in the US but they're killing it over here.
Go To fresh is incredible, and fresh Stone IPA is still a legit world-class beer. We can give Stone as much as **** as we want, but Stone IPA is basically the West Coast's Two Hearted Ale.

Except with some inexplicable sticky crystal malt and too much chinook.

I hope this isn't any of you **** birds

Thank the beer dark lords it is back. This beer is what I think many people really wanted from the longest time. A collaboration with Three Floyds of Indiana to use their Dark Lord making skills at creating a massive beer with the Black Tuesday lords at the The Bruery. They have come together once again to create this literal liquid chaos of sense engulfing darkness. Now all I have left to say is how it can compare to however my brain can remember from the original. The best part is that it will not go bad! So cheers and hope you can get one, I am recommending it right off the bat!

Has Deschutes done away with best after dates? I just took a look at the labels on Brandy and Scotch Abyss, and they have a bottled on date, instead of the best after dates found on the Rye and Cognac Abyss bottles, and countless other limited BA releases in the past.
