Never have I laughed so hard during a horror movie when he killed a dude with a bong

Went to a brewery last night and every beer was an absolute stunner. A couple of barrelled sour saisons, a whisky barrel berliner, a delicious 5.5% belg single, pilsner was on point, and a sneaky taste of their coolship beer a couple of months in (it tasted like apple juice).

Australian beer coming on fast.
My boss is from Melbs and he keeps trying to convince me to start a brewery there with some brewer from here. (I’m a little too… comfortable with my current situation in San Diego to consider that at the moment though. ;))

So bit of a disclaimer but I had yet to have any of these happen to me in a potential trade so all 3 in one is just too funny.
1. Brings up secondary value when discussing what would be the 2 main bottles involved... Sure we have all seen that so what.
2. References take your pick rating system and this beer "as the #1 rated Berliner Weisse"
3. Actually travelled to a different f#%&ing continent to only wait in lines for 8 hours to simply trade it and anything else you could get while you were there. And say that you need to factor this in to your secondary.
4. I'm with the rest of you. I hate beer now...

Why you got to out me!?

Sounds like he wasn't treated all that great at Surly. Surprised he's not striking out on his own though. Seems like between him and his wife they could start up their own brewery
Honestly, if Surly wasn't treating them all that well, it would probably require more loans than they want to take on, especially if they have already been through the restaurant rodeo. It's probably less risk and hassle to go to a place like Three Floyds.

This seems like the most probably explanation. Or maybe they have a deal like Cory made with Phil when he was working at Perennial and started up Side Project?

Plus some people don't want that added pressure / stress of being the owner. If he wants to play music he can, when you own a business that opportunity might not happen.
