Drinking my first ever brut IPA. Pretty good. What are people so mad about?

My first was pretty good, and i was asking the same and thing.

Fast forward to having 6-7 other ones, and considering it one of the worst styles. All the others I've had have been tricks terrible.

It was a fluke.

Awful style.

I've had about 5 of them, and while I really want to love the style (super dry / clear / late hopping / etc...) I've only had 1 that I would voluntarily drink again.

Weirdly I've had 2 or 3 of them that have a noticeable diacetyl character which surprises the **** out of me, wonder if it has something to do with the enzyme addition.

Still better than Milkshake IPA's...

As much as I dislike Brut IPA. I am on board with this.

Stop making beer dumb already.

Maybe it's the curmudgeon in me, but this has me much more excited than the newest trend of the week.

*Edit* Not sure if it mentions what beer, but this is Metropolitan's Afterburner Oktoberfest which is fantastic. *Edit*

Some places here were blowing out Bruery bottles for super cheap recently. Like Saule for 10 bucks, Mash and Coconut for 4 bucks...I see more of this in the future.
Picked up a few Saule for $15.00 recently. The distributor was selling cheap, my local store got some and then he told me he saw they were still available to order but the distributor jacked the prices back up for some reason.

This is a movie you'd make to make fun of guys like Koch. Like Germany (or anyone) needs you to teach them about beer. Wow, lemon verbena IPAs, so crazy!
