Give em a shot, I was honestly very pleasantly surprised. There's a Flanders and a pineapple AWA that are both very tasty.

They really reigned in the sourness and the beers are much more balanced now. I don't feel like the enamel is being stripped from my teeth anymore.

The two Upland efforts that I've actually enjoyed in the last year are decidedly closer to their roots than the boring balanced stuff they are getting credit for now. Of course, they've opted not to bottle either of the releases I want to keep on hand (Balaton and Passion Fruit).

Isn't that just a milk stout with fruit? Not that out there as far as experimentation is concerned, but ******* stupid that they're calling it a milkshake stout.

This is definitely happening in the next few years. Peanut butter stouts are too common these days. Once those PB&J stouts really take off they will definitely get in on that game.

The "hazy" part is way stupider than calling it a "milkshake" stout. At least "milkshake" makes *some* sense in that context.

I don't find this surprising. As the article states, the same thing happened at InBev last year.

It means they're done acquiring (at least as fast as they have been), have moved the people they wanted to corporate and cut all the extra people that came in after the acquisitions out.

It's business. It means nothing. Just reducing redundancy.
