Hi,
What do folks do in regards to a pressure Ferment sample hose?
I Ferment in a modified sanke keg w/ corny posts. I made a 6 foot 1/4" hose - ball lock and picnic valve on each end. The picnic valve just blows foam out no matter what I try.

Anyone figured out a solution? Tiny diameter super long hose and a tiny valve maybe?

thanks haeffnkr

I have some 4mm external with 2mm internal beer line works well. Tend to use this on my mini keg when taking beer away to other venues.
Most of the time I use my picnic tap on 8mm Eva barrier.
This pours foam but I want a degassed sample for hydrometer or refractometer.

i use my picnic tap 2.1 to sample beer when i pressure ferment out of my oxebar 20 l keg and it works fine.
This is what I use too. Its a fantastic little devise and eliminates the need for tubing.

Keep a soda bottle filled with starsan and a carb cap to sanitize between uses.

Takes two seconds to sanitize between uses too
