Has anyone tried that BA stout that Eleventh Hour released? I just happened to literally be walking by the day the bottles dropped. I grabbed one, but haven't opened it yet.

Pretty sure it was a good thing, not a bad thing, but I somehow missed the fact that anything got posted in here in the past week or so. Beer in question was so close to being great. I could taste things that I wanted in it but there was a harshness to it that was a definite negative. Realistically, for a place that has been around for just a year, they executed it better than I would have expected. It's no Black Magick or Bourbon County, but it doesn't have the imbalance that a lot of new breweries have when they barrel age beer. Was probably drinking before having this beer, so take this opinion as you will.

Best bottle shop in the world is in that area. Sabatinis in Exeter. Tons of stuff we don't get in distro here. lambic, belgians, too many to name. Always has a good draft list with tired hands. Only like 30 minutes from Poconos.

My sis and BIL live up in Cornelius. Currently sipping on a Heist citrasomethinorother...tasty. Doubt I'll have time to hit those spots, although I have been to heist and salud (before they started brewing). May be able to hit high branch before the party tmrw.

My sis got gen Braddock, recertified, and the fall IPA. Cracked the Gen Brad before heading out, pretty ******* delicious for a reg old flagship or whatever.

Yeah, if you’re that far up there, you’re somewhat close to High Branch. You need to make that happen. Just finished a can of Promise Ring thanks to beerman6686 - and those guys definitely make dope ass beer. Plus, then you can inform mborden how good his boy is at making alcohol.

Meh. I didn't find it that way at all, really. This was just the extra vanilla not the triple or whatever, but the vanilla/sweetness was almost nonexistent in mine.

I've drank about 100million 16oz cans of it this summer. Little bready, little bitter hoppy, easy drinker. Won't knock you're shoes off but also won't sleep with your girlfriend while you're away on a business trip.
