Need to try some Hacker this year. Thanks for the recommendation.Hacker Pschorr is the most underrated one, in my opinion. It's a little lighter and more traditional than others. But damn, it's good.

Would Four Seasons qualify as one of these sizes?Fat Heads.
Edit: Think it's cost-prohibitive for any but medium/larger breweries. *
It used to be the poster boy for DMS, to the point that I think they intentionally brewed it that way due to customer demand. Is that gone?Back to beer, i've been drinkin a lot of Rolling Rock cause i got free 30pack. If there's a better alcoholic palate cleanser out there i've never tried it. Doing a Monk's Blood vertical? Crack an ice cold rolling rock. Sampling all the hot new local IPAs? Dump two rollling rocks into a frosted mug. Building a birdhouse with your niece? Drink 10 rolling rocks first. It has absolutely nothing going on, which to me makes it ******* perfect.

Could be that they cleaned it up when production moved to NJ.I didn't pick it up but i don't know that i'm that sensitive to it. I'm sure it's all ill taste now. Thanks Nate.
No joke, that was my breakfast this morning.Could be that they cleaned it up when production moved to NJ.

More importantly, the Gaucho truck?? I'm a foodie.Any info on BG Lou?
Had a project up in Williamsport and was up there every other week for about 3 months. Of course it just wrapped up.Bullfrog is releasing Le Roar Grrrz next weekend:
We’ll be releasing 4 Le Roar Grrrz varieties to the public and our members starting on July 29th, 2016 at our brewpub.
The brands and counts that will be available for the General Public Sale on Saturday, July 30th are as follows: 280 Le Roar Grrrz (bottled 6/15/15), 337 Le Roar Grrrz Apricot (bottled 3/30/16), 413 Le Roar Grrrz Framboise (bottled 3/30/16), 368 Le Roar Grrrz Aardbei (bottled 3/25/16). 280 full allotments.
Freaking figures. Was just up at Penn State for 3 days this past weekend. Probably not going to make this one.

The Lou was outstanding, and the Prototype peach/nectarine Weisse was really great as well. Gaucho Asado did not disappoint either, steak plate, wings and roasted corn were all excellent!Any info on BG Lou?

The cost is having a booth but you can enter beer without having a booth.

Think it's still a couple hundred dollars for each beer submitted + cost of shipping your beers out there. Adds up.
The LOU last year was just OK to me. I just didn't dig the hops. This year's LOU is phenomenal. I really liked it a lot and got a growler to go. I told Rjdillman that I actually liked it better than Akamai, which on the TB Pittsburgh Thread scale places it somewhere between Nimble Giant and Rolling Rock.Any info on BG Lou?

Monday or Tuesday will limit your options for breweries. How mobile are you and how far do you comfortably want to venture? That will help us with getting you some suggestions. So this thread has been a bit of a shitshow. Tried do some digging, but there are only so many hours in a day.
I just found out a slot opened up for some training next week so I'll be heading to your fair city. I think I'm gonna stay downtown, but the training is in Bridgeville. Will probably hit the Pirates game Wednesday night (Star Wars night), So I'll really only have Monday and Tuesday evening. Any breweries I could/should hit Mon/Tues? Any beers I should be looking for on tap or dinner recs? Decent selection at PNC?
Thanks!
