In 2016 I switched from using imageshack to photobucket for free image hosting and then in 2017 photobucket went from being free to wanting a $400 per year subscription fee. At that time their images all went offline.
I am not sure when it happened but photobucket must have abandoned this idiotic plan as my photobucket images are again being displayed in this and other forums. Hopefully whichever bigwig who came up with this plan also got the sack.
I haven't tried logging into my photobucket account and may not as I switched to imgur last year for hosting and haven't looked back.
