Brewers,

I have a 12v 5a peltier cooler with two heat sinks and two fans. I'm planning on turning an old cooler into a small fridge with it. I am posting this here for any electrical gurus. The two fans are also 12v 5a and I need to be able to power all three simultaneously. What would be a sufficient power supply? Thanks in advance!

Used a peltier for my first dozen batches. Does work but is limited in how cold it can get. Thus you will never be able to cold crash in it or do lager temps.

If you do the calculations it is quite inefficient and long term will cost at least twice as much to run. I was going to expand but then got an old chest freezer and it allows much better control and lets me cold crash and lager.

It's not for fermentation. Just a small cool place to store some dry yeast, hops, recovered yeast, and DME. Plus I just like making things lol. I will look into that power supply above. That's pretty inexpensive. Thanks guys. I will post a pick when I finish.
