I just upgraded my Home Depot 10G Igloo Cooler Mash Tun from 3/8" brass to 1/2" stainless steel. I am now all 1/2" as well as all stainless, so I have no use for any of these parts. Free + shipping to anyone looking to upgrade to all grain. Add a cooler and a bazooka screen and you're setup for all grain.

Hey guys! In got a few extract and partial-mash brews under my belt and I'm going all grain and I'm stoked! Don't want to sound greedy but Ill take anything you guys don't want/need and I'll definatly put it to good use! I've learned almost everything from you guys, and kust wanted to say thanks! How about, if you're going to ask for free things, you be a little more specific. I'm all for getting perfectly good equipment back into circulation, but since you don't know what we have, and we don't know what you need, no one is going to send you "stuff".

Even better: post something you have that you no longer need and "pay it forward", like the thread title suggests.

I would love to give you guys something back for all the help you've given me, but I honestly only have the bare essentials. I'm very young, paying for college so I don't have the money yet for the more quality equipment I really only have the bare essentials haha. I'm borrowing a turkey fryer for my gas stove and an old cooler and coverting that into a mash tun from my parents and friends in exchange for some brews. Bought pretty much everything else in pieces off Craiglists to save money, I'm a brewer on a budget. Really what I'm in dire need of is an immersion wort chiller and a bigger kettle and a great thermometer. As I go on and learn more and more about this craft and gain knowledge and help the beginners, and then have actually have the money to upgrade my equipment I would love to come back on this thread and do what you guys are doing paying it forward by giving back to people that will use your unused equipment and put that to good use just to show how thankful I am for all your help!

I understand thrift, I've practiced it all my life. I don't have a spare wort chiller, but I built mine cheaply. Watch ebay for copper tube coils, buy a washing machine hose and a couple of small clamps. I think I got 50' for about $30.

Typically, in a pay it forward thread, the I'll take it includes what you are offering for the next take. For example, Pm sent with info on the Sabco steam jacketed nano system. Up for grabs is my rusty banjo burner stand.
