I really hope Buckley is one of the society beers for the next release. How amazing would that be to not have to worry about crowds/lines/bottle-chasing!!?!?!!?Buckley- Imperial Breakfast Stout with Vanilla, Maple Syrup, and Dark Matter Coffee 12.7% 60ibu
I'll settle for it being on tap, and then me stomping my feet like a child questioning why it wasn't one of the bottles.I really hope Buckley is one of the society beers for the next release. How amazing would that be to not have to worry about crowds/lines/bottle-chasing!!?!?!!?
Decided to open my last bottle of Red Wine Obelus and... This is killing it right now. Beautiful clearness, effervescent, the wine accenting the saison sweetness.
Very pumped about next Sunday.

Crossing my fingers that we'll get an email update this week. I saw Chris mention something about vintage beers at the party in a vague FB post. Not sure if that means bottles or on draft. I'd be happy with either.
On another note, drinking my first Hop Drank and I'm in love. The Brett and the Mosaic really shine with that soft, peppery yeast filling the background sweetness.
I'm a sucker for brett-heavy pales and it's definitely that. It's a solid substitute for Bitter Monk, and was a few dollars cheaper.Hoping for Hop Drank at the release. Couldn't get downtown for bottles and would love to try that one!

That's the beer that convinced me to buy the membership. Had it on tap twice before and decided I needed more of his beer in my face hole.
Anyone showing up early for the bottle share? I might be having a late night on saturday, but I would like to get over there early and open some goodies with some of the folks in this thread.

I'll plan on getting there early for a bottle share. Looks like the weather isn't supposed to be too miserable, though hopefully that won't matter and Chris will get us inside.
I'll prob get there early and leave right after getting my stuff
prob stick around for one, but I'm not a fan of being that far north and drinking on Sundays...No drafts? Sounds like there is gonig to be a really nice taplist
Would be in for a bottle share before if I can get my ass there early enough.
Also wondering if I can get my Transient growler filled with something on tap.
I'll be there an hour or so early like last time. Took me 5 minutes to get through the bottle line and made the experience much more enjoyable.

Just a casual question/observation. The society is limited to what, 150ish members, right? Last membership session we were allows to bring 1 additional guest. It sounds like verbiage this time is that you're allowed to bring guests, as in no limit.
Anyone else concerned logistically? I'm all for allowing more people to try the beers but Aquanaut is only so big, and it's cold out, and there's only so much draft beer and bottles available. And last release it was annoying having to stand in line for 5-10 minutes to get a draft pour (granted that was peak time around 1-2pm and it did die down).
Anyone else like me and prefer not to increase the crowd any more than what was at last release party?

I hope that it was just poor wording and it's still 1 guest per person. Or at the very least, most people abide by that line of reasoning. Otherwise, I agree. I will become a logistical **** show which has evaded the past two events and what made the events really awesome and chill.
