Talked to Chris yesterday at Beermiscuous and he seemed pretty sure it would be March 1st. Not set yet, obiously.

Then I asked him about what beers we were getting.

He did post this the other day

I'm pumped this release won't be during the holiday season so I'll be stocking up on some extra bottles this time around. Sporadic #2 is on my list now. That sounds fantastic.

It was a perfect layout for everything. I'd just split into 2 draft lines. Meat pies were also delicious. Hopefully I can make it a little earlier this time & bring something weird to open like Plan Bee or OEC.

Wouldn't know about the meat pies as they ran out fairly quick. Need more food there.

damn always a day Im out of town, I'll be more then likely in VT.. Missed the first release last time around too...

I get the concern from some people about the locations of the event, but we bought into this knowing Chris wouldn't always contract out of One Trick. He's eventually going to find his own space to brew and it could be anywhere in the Chicagoland area. I bought in because of the beer and not the location.

Same here. I'll be selfish and hope it ends up somewhere in the Western Suburbs where he can get a bigger space for more barrels :)

But I'm happy anywhere around Chicago, as I also bought in given that we're sorely lacking in breweries like this around the area, especially given how many have popped up and are still opening along the East Coast. I'm still really surprised by the lack of progress on that in the Midwest given that we have so much agriculture, and have the (American) pioneer in Jolly Pumpkin...

You'd think that Wisconsin and Michigan would have a ton

I joined cause it was in Lansing, lol... Aqua is a cool location but man that north side for me... i heard they will be there fr good...
I'm in the same boat. Was nice being close to the 1st event, but that Aquanaut space is pretty damn sweet! And as long as the events are on Sunday where traffic is next to non-existent, I didn't really mind the drive. Gave me an excuse to stock up on fresh Half Acre cans too.

I'm kind of hoping that the communication is improved this membership period. I would like to know what the allocation plan is and what we are getting before showing up this time through. Also wouldnt mind hearing Chris give some insight into what his business plan will be going forward. It's fine to be a gypsy brewery for awhile, but I dont think it could ever truly take off without his own space. I dont even care where it ends up, I would just like somewhere where I can go sit and have some beers right off the tap.

A Transient taproom would be absolutely magical.

Yes, a taproom would be sweet. That seems to be down the road from now unless he can share space with another brewery- Maybe Aquanaut! It's not like banks are lining up to give brewers start-up funds.

Chris just posted some beers he's bringing to a local fest:

Hop Drank- Hoppy Farmhouse Ale with Brettanomyces 8.2% 65ibu

Buckley- Imperial Breakfast Stout with Vanilla, Maple Syrup, and Dark Matter Coffee 12.7% 60ibu

Legit- Pale Ale... 5% 45ibu

Buckley made me cum in my pants and if Legit has some flavor that would be awesome to have a solid pale to drink from him as well.
