What’s the closest I can get to an Oktoberfest in Ale form. No room (or time really) for lagering.
Having brewed this a few times, it'll definitely scratch that particular itch.I haven't brewed it myself, but BierMuncher's OktoberFAST Ale gets good reviews.
Just out of curiosity, how warm? I don’t currently have the ability to keep temps much below 72ish.You could always grab some w34/70 and warm ferment the lager. I’ve done it with good success on several lagers now since I don't have the patience or equipment to do a proper lagering. I just started drinking my helles lager and it was brewed on July 27th.
At the height of fermentation it was over 80 degrees. My ambient in my basement where I ferment is around 72-74 during the summer.Just out of curiosity, how warm? I don’t currently have the ability to keep temps much below 72ish.
