What’s the closest I can get to an Oktoberfest in Ale form. No room (or time really) for lagering.

You could always grab some w34/70 and warm ferment the lager. I’ve done it with good success on several lagers now since I don't have the patience or equipment to do a proper lagering. I just started drinking my helles lager and it was brewed on July 27th.

Take a standard marzen recipe. Pitch 2206 or L17 at 2.5mil/ml/Plato cold, ferment cold. If they are active and healthy going in, spund on day 4-6, fermentation and carbonation will be done by day 7-8. Then drop it to 30 and it will be mostly clear in another week and a half.

Just out of curiosity, how warm? I don’t currently have the ability to keep temps much below 72ish.

At the height of fermentation it was over 80 degrees. My ambient in my basement where I ferment is around 72-74 during the summer.
