It only took five minutes to realize the idea of having two Mannings hosting MNF was a HUGE mistake. HUGE!
I seriously can't fathom how someone in authority could think this was a good idea vs a typical play-by-play broadcast - which is on a different channel at least, thank goodness!

Considering the arc of their respective careers I doubt Brady gives AF about anything to do with Mannings...

I mean Eli did ruin Brady's perfect season with the pull it out if his butt throw to Plaxico Burris. One loss the whole year lol.

I suspect being worth hundred of millions of bucks with a hot wife worth even more on your arm would make those two (ridiculous) losses on his otherwise amazing career record not much more than a mosquito sting ;)

Geno Smith notwithstanding, I get to go to my VERY FIRST Seahawks game today; lived here for 44 years and been to countless Mariners games, a few Thunderbird games, and one memorable Sonics game the year before they scooted out of here. Sitting in the first row courtesy of our dear friends who gave up their season tickets to us today FOR FREE because I'd never been to a game. I bleed blue & green. Yah we're probably going to lose but I don't care.

That's awesome I hope you have a great time! I'm a Broncos fan but you brought back a great memory (my wife's family are Seahawks fans) and I'm sure you remember the beastmode run against New Orleans!

Beast Mode Run!

I was ready to shop McDaniels out for good with 5 minutes left in the first half.
Dude was seriously misreading what was obvious to everyone else.
Pats won anyway...

Our Hawks totally annihilated the Jags; yes Jacksonville is not having a good year, but damn the Seahawks needed the boost that win gave them. I think it was because I was there....

Not hating the early game results wrt AFC. Seeing the Bills get utterly pasted at home by the Colts, plus Tennessee losing to Houston definitely good for NE.
Then there's the gravy, like Cam "I'm Baaaaack!" losing to The Football Team, Aaron losing to the Vikings...
Yup. Good day so far :)

Man, every time I ses one of those Gronk USAA commercials I swear I hear neighbors calling to cancel their policies...

Meh. Clearly nothing more than The Flying Fig Leaf of Cover.
All of the sports leagues see betting as yet another revenue stream to exploit and don't give a crap how many folks stupidly bankrupt themselves.
Book it.

Ok…. Trash talk aside and let’s be honest here for a minute…. Can anyone really see the Pats losing another game this season, all the way through the Super Bowl? I can’t.

All is back in balance the way it should be and has been for 20 years…. Pats are back on top all alone (let’s face it, we are all Patriots)…. Packers? Terrible. Seachickens? Embarassing. Jets? LOL!!!! OMG…. I said “Jets”…. That’s funny.

We've been hearing it for a while: Big Ben is a has-been and is now just a washed-up veteran that should have retired before now.
The Steelers beat the division leading Ravens tonight on the last play of the game. Football just doesn't get any better than this.
It will still be a miracle if the Steelers even get a wild card playoff spot, but the next 4 weeks will be very interesting.
:mug:

The Steelers are awful.

That Ravens/Steelers game was a marathon battle of who could suck worse.

The only bright spot was the trash got out of the way and let the rightful #1 seed take it’s seat

True - and we do try to keep this thread somewhat "reality based" :D
I watched as much of the Steelers/Ravens game as my two youngest grandchildren would allow.
From what I saw, the Pittsburg Steelers will be out on the links when the playoffs start...

lol! :)

Buffalo fandom is not taking this loss well at all. They're calling for the coaches heads. I'm ok with that :D
And their road suddenly looks pretty rocky, having to face BradyCo this weekend, and the Patriots in Foxboro, along the way.
Could easily end up out of the playoffs entirely...
