ooh, thanks for that.

I've probably got enough at home to fill it, but I might do some extra shopping tonight...

It's my birthday today and my wife bought me a beer gun. I will be bottling tomorrow and shipping Thursday.

I look forward to it finfan!

I'm going to check my solera on Saturday. If it's ready, I might male a pull off that and get that in the mix. Otherwise I have a decent selection of stuff to share. I've got a couple good local beers to throw in too.

A little elf just told me Christmas came a bit early--a FedEx package arrived today from the Bluegrass State. I'll post some pics after the local, homebrew club meeting tonight.

For Marckw: I thought I should explain what I sent as per instructions, and I'm heading off to bed so here goes... I sent the only 2 homebrews I had ready. One was a pumpkin ale, which started as Northern Brewer's AG Smashing Pumpkin kit and I modified it slightly by adding real pumpkin. This was my 2nd AG and 1st time modifying a recipe. It is even better if you have some pumpkin seeds or probably anything salty, as it seems to bring out the pumpkin flavor. The other is another nb ag kit, Spiced Winter Ale. I also included my favorite locals. I like most of what KY Ale has to offer. If you weren't aware, they are part of Alltech. The brewery shares a building with their distillery, which is part of the KY Bourbon Trail. Lots of fun if you are ever in KY. The ipa is out of Louisville. I recently discovered it. I asked my wife to pick up something interesting and that's what she came home with. Unfortunately the timing of this was slightly off for me as I have my first two self designed recipes in primary so they won't be ready for a while. Now that I have my feet wet with this trading thing now though, I'm sure they will be in someone's future. I hope you enjoy! Cheers!

I have no idea. He didnt give me their username. Hope who ever does.

I would not be upset at all.....

How much info is everyone including in their shipments? I don't make fancy labels, so just style? Recipe? brew day notes?

Thanks

I write on the bottle if it's not labeled. Beer name/style, ABV, and date bottled.

Willing to send recipes if asked, but not necessary up front.

I just labeled my bottles with painters tape and sent them. As reviews are done any recipe requests will be met with a post of the recipe so everyone can see it.

Please label yalls bottles. I get some many HB that are not labeled. It gets annoying to ask what it is. Buy a metallic sharpie and write on the bottle or put some painters tap and write on that.

I usually put the abv and the name/ what it is on the bottle

I was planning to wait as well. The first beer I have brewed using my own made up recipe is in primary right now. I use the set and forget kegging method, so by the time it's done in primary, dry hopped, and carbed, the deadline will have long passed. Oh well, I replaced it with some good local craft beer.

This is what will happen with me as well. I really don't have much ready as my pipeline has run a bit dry and I don't trust one that I bottled, so I'll replace with commercial brew. Hope that ends up being okay.
