Howdy, Name is Bill and I'm in Healdsburg, CA.. home of a ton of fantastic wineries. Love wine and love to brew beer.. however, I haven't been brewing for a number of years. As my profile shows, I started in about 1963, before it was legal.. getting PBR Hop Flavored Malt and corn sugar and not very good yeast from a store near Oakland, CA. Beer wasn't very good, but after a few with a bunch of friends around a campfire with some good BBQ we settled in. When brewing beer became legal, a new world opened to me. CHOICES galore.. wow.
I haven't been brewing for a number of years now.. equipment sitting idle and it's time to start again.. so here I am.
I'm partial to IPA's as well as other ales.. light to dark. Once in awhile a porter or a lager or a pils.
I'm retired, into woodcarving, ukulele, RV'ing, the Bible.. lots of interests.
Anyhow, nice to be here and hope to learn a bunch. I'll post a specific question if I can't find the answer in Search.
