I am wanting to open a tap house in a middle size town in North Carolina with 20-40 taps on hand. Show casing local NC breweries and other hand made beers from across the country.

I am having a hard time writing up the business plan to present investors and banks. I believe the market is ripe for one and the local historical downtown area has some great locations. And plus I feel if I can bring exotic and exciting beer on tap people will show up to taste it.

If anyone has a BP that I can use or help with this venture please let me know.

Thanks

You believe it, but facts supporting your belief are the key. Facts are what your BP need. Otherwise, it just like your opinion, man (to quote "The Dude"). Investors aren't going to buy in, based just upon your opinion.

And plus I feel if I can bring exotic and exciting beer on tap people will show up to taste it.

yikes...The "if you build it, they will come" strategy typically does not hold water for investors. A description of a vibrant and exciting craft beer, homebrewing culture in your area would be a better selling point. If you have one, that is. If you are in Bud and NASCAR country, you are probably out of luck.

but I'm some schlub on the interwebs...do you have a mentor you can work with? Somebody who has experience?
