I think you actually named it first Bracconiere, so you are up. DB obviously know where it was from the beginning but never named it. I noticed that DB is in Kirkwood which is only about 2 hours from Bodie.

Well, it's Kirkwood, Missouri, so more like 30 hours without stops.
I only knew it because i Googled "desert church." But I have been to near by Mono Lake.

Cactus reminded me of being a kid living in AZ, so I searched AZ park visitors center and got it pretty quickly. I don't think I've actually ever even heard of it before!

Looks fun. Except for maybe the "Wild Cave Tour". I think I could do it but... wedging myself underneath giant objects on purpose has never really sounded good.
