Malta? don't know but D.B.'s comment, would suggest he AI'd it and was making a crack....

Malta is the only british colony driving on the right....or sorta....

They do not drive on the right
and
new zealand drives on the left, so does australia.
That's what I meant by stick with what you know.

As to malting your own grain, I mean you are THE GUY who does this, THE GUY who figured out how to do this on the cheap. I figured that if you could do that, you could get this. I was trying to encourage you. :mug:

and i assure you although fun, playing this doesn't FEEL cheap to me! this must be the way pro-sports stars feel, but they live in million dollar mansions...

i'm just the kid in the special olympics thrilled to get my ass kicked by michael jordan..

..

I was thinking Australia / New Zealand as well (mentioned it earlier) but never got confirmation. Then again I guess it never got shot down either.

wait now i'm confused, i googled gold coast, and got north/west africa?

duh? obviously not? 🤣 :mug:

so some city in queensland.....but not directly surfer's paradise......i think i should stick with simple word, games and leave the picture games to the pros!

Lets go with Palm Beach, Queensland

Gold Coast is a city. (Also an area encompassing many cities.)

From Wikipedia
"Gold Coast is the sixth-largest city in Australia, Australia's largest non-capital city, and Queensland's second-largest city. The Gold Coast is a major tourist destination with a sunny, subtropical climate and has become widely known for its world-class surfing beaches, high-rise dominated skyline, theme parks, nightlife, and rainforest hinterland. The city is part of the nation's entertainment industry with television productions and a major film industry"

So if I look up Gold Coast Australia, orient the map to look south, and then cruise along until I find what looks to be the same buildings, land features, and etc. - is that an acceptable way to find out where the picture was taken? I'm not really sure of the rules here (I'm guessing there are no hard rules but am also guessing there are some things folks would prefer one not do to find the answer).

Rules are listed in the OP*, but I'd say you're good as described. Putting the pic right into a Google search, not so much. The key is that you're doing the sleuthing.

*4. This is an honor system here so let's keep it fair and fun for everyone. No cheating by using SEARCH GOOGLE FOR IMAGE or looking at the IMAGE URL, or any other method

Actually, the picture is an arial shot, but you can get pretty close, depending on how tall you are. I found the picture after I found the place. Once there you can discover the price of a stay for @bracconiere:
I couldn't get a price on the round tower on the right side of the picture, but the tall building to the left of that can be done for $220 right now.
those buildings on the right are on Goodwin Terrace. I will not name the city, but walking down the beach would get there.
Totally legit.

Right, I saw the land features, beach, etc. from the aerial map and found the place already. Strolled the beach view as well for kicks. Just wondering if that was an acceptable method before I named it.
