Man, that was a complete wild guess!@3 Dawg Night ding ding! You're up.
I went with @bruce_the_loon's suggestion, although it's the window of a friend's light aircraft.
Close! (within ~500 miles)Is that Mt. Blanc?
Close enough. That picture was taken from the Kehlsteinhaus (Hitler's "Eagle's Nest" summer retreat), near Berchtesgaden. I think you can see the Untersberg massif from there, but I don't know if it's the one in the picture. It was an absolutely gorgeous view, though.Untersberg Mastif?
Probably race weekend at Monaco. You're up Northern_Brewer.Portofino - although it looks like only the cheap yachts were in town that day, it can't have been during the season....
It’s the Bass Brewery in Burton Upon Trent.
I grew up in Nottingham and visited the Bass brewery in the early 90's on a school field trip.
The clock tower / steeple in the background is it the Market Church in Hannover, Germany?
- Thought it looked familiar from a trip taken as a chaperone with a bunch of high school kids in 2004 - (Looked it up on Wikipedia and pretty sure that's it.)

All that wood looks "new" in an old style, so somewhere that did not avoid the attention of the RAF in WWII?
