This is why I said "largish". I'm not sure if Seattle is big enough to be considered a major city but it's larger than most.

I love Switzerland, it's on my "if I ever win the lottery" places to live for as long as they will put up with me. Very tough immigration rules the last time I checked.

Remember, the entire state of Alaska only has approx. 731,000 people and Anchorage has approx. 300,000 people. Seattle has a population of 3.4 million people. Having lived in Anchorage for many years, I take no offense at calling Seattle the northernmost/westernmost largish city in the U.S.
